1. About these terms
These terms govern use of JunoClass (“the service”), a homework, quiz, and analytics platform for schools operated by the JunoClass team (“we”, “us”).
By registering a school, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use JunoClass
The service is intended for schools, teachers, and pupils. Access is provided through accounts linked to a registered school, typically via sign-in on the school’s email domain.
Schools must ensure that only authorised staff and pupils use the service and that use complies with their own policies, safeguarding obligations, and applicable law.
3. School accounts and registration
A school administrator may register the school on JunoClass. By doing so, they confirm they are authorised to act on behalf of the school and to bind the school to these terms.
The school is responsible for maintaining accurate school details, managing staff access through the staff registry where applicable, and informing users that their activity on the platform is subject to school policies.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to access another school’s data or bypass security controls;
- upload content that is harmful, offensive, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate for an educational setting;
- interfere with or disrupt the service, including by automated scraping or excessive load;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with a school;
- include pupil names or other unnecessary personal data in AI generation prompts.
Optional Generate with AI produces draft questions only. Teachers must review and edit content before publishing. Do not rely on AI output without checking accuracy and suitability for your pupils.
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or where continued access poses a risk to users or the service.
5. Content and intellectual property
Schools and users retain ownership of content they create (including quizzes, questions, and pupil responses). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide and improve the service.
JunoClass branding, software, and documentation remain our property or our licensors’. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or resell the service except as expressly permitted.
6. Fees and trials
Pricing is described on our pricing page. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Continued use after the trial requires a paid annual licence — Team licences from £349/year or whole-school licences from £1099/year, excluding VAT where applicable.
Fee changes will be communicated in advance. Failure to pay may result in suspension of the school’s access.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep JunoClass available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or withdraw features with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or fit for every educational purpose. AI-generated draft questions may be inaccurate or unsuitable; teachers are responsible for reviewing all content before pupils see it.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data where you have failed to maintain your own backups, or loss arising from factors outside our reasonable control.
Our total liability arising from the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees paid by the school for that period, or £100 if no fees were paid.
9. Termination
A school may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate or suspend a school’s account for non-payment, breach of these terms, or at the school’s request.
On termination, access will end. Provisions that by nature should survive (including liability limits and intellectual property) will continue to apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
